The Luke Society’s summer fundraising project is to raise money for Dr. Frederic Djongali Berniba who is in need of an ultrasound machine and would like to connect his satellite clinic in the community of Belaba to the electrical grid.

Many people work a job to live a lifestyle they enjoy. That’s true of Dr. Marwel Garcia, but that lifestyle he works for is to succeed at another job, one he views as a calling from the Lord to serve the medical needs of the underserved in Leon, Nicaragua.

From its humble beginnings in the basement of a church in Denver, Colo., the Luke Society has grown to have a worldwide impact, providing physical health and introducing countless to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

It’s a reasonable request for any patient needing medical services to receive those in a suitable building. Dr. Patricia Dimene of M’bongo, Cameroon, is in the process of upgrading her facilities to better serve her people.
