Vida en Abundancia de Mexico

Vida en Abundancia de Mexico started with a simple but heartfelt passion for children.

More than 25 years later, that hasn’t changed. VAM combines medical care with humanitarian compassion for the people of the El Por Venir neighborhood in Jalapa, Mexico.

The ministry offers medical, dental and psychological services. It also operates two soup kitchens in the area, providing hot meals to more than 100 children per day. An educational component gives students a boost in learning with tutoring services. The ministry also teaches local women skills like baking and sewing, which can then be used in the market.

“The Luke Society has been a very important ally throughout almost the entire history of VAM,” said director Daniel Guerrero. “I enjoy that we share love and mercy towards our neighbors and those most in need, always motivated by the same convictions.”

The ministry is housed in a three-story building with spaces for the clinic and administration, a warehouse and workshop training rooms, as well as a kitchen, dining room and spaces for learning.
