Fundación Ministerio Visión Familiar
Metapán, El Salvador
Fundación Ministerio Visión Familiar works in preventative medicine through health education. Pillars of the ministry include: home health; Bible-based evangelism; witnessing Christ; prayer for the sick; and church collaboration.
Navidad works with a number of local schools to teach virtues and health education through the scope of a Christian worldview. She works with both elementary schools and adolescents, teaching age-appropriate topics.
She also works with local communities, promoting disease prevention and women’s mental health, highlighted by literacy, entrepreneurship and first-aid courses.
Her passion extends to the care of the elderly by teaching self-care, self-assessment and the prevention of chronic diseases and conditions.
“I enjoy being part of the Luke Society because it has allowed me to realize one of the dreams of my life, which is to do missions with the natives in El Salvador,” Navidad said. “I understand them. I know them. I can see the best and also predict the worst. It makes it easier for me to have hope in God for them because I am theirs.
