The country of Chad has one of the lowest physican density populations on earth with only six doctors for every 100,000 people.

That puts Dr. Frederic Djongali Berniba in a unique position to effect change in his home country.

Frederic is the director is Clinique El Jiré-Rapha in Moundou, a full service medical campus in southern Chad. The clinic offers consultations, lab services, radiology, maternity, treatment rooms, a pharmacy, operating theater and chaplaincy.

El Jiré-Rapha translate as “God provides healing.”

“The association of the Gospel with all our activities and the subsidizing of all our services make us unique and is our strength,” Frederic said.

The ministry umbrella includes other facets, such as a school and a nurses training school. In 2022, the ministry opened a satellite clinic in nearby Belaba.
