The Luke Society is launching a new fundraising project to help support a new vehicle for Dr. Susie and Rev. Ben Cayaon’s ministry in Quezon. It’s needed to reach some of the hard-to-reach villages in the region.

Eloxochitlán is not an easy place to live. It’s off the main road and doesn’t have access to many of life’s comforts. But a ministry couple feels a calling to bring medical services to this place which has never had appropriate access to care.

Changes to the Luke Society staff are coming this summer as the ministry says farewell to a familiar face and welcomes a new one. The transition will happen in August.

The globe continues to be a troubling place with news stories constantly reminding us of our fallen world. We were reminded again just how unsettling it is with recent news coming out of places like Ecuador, Haiti, Cameroon, Myanmar and Ukraine.
